Details
The new Long Range Composite Stock is is the result of two years of research and development that was designed to accomplish several goals. First, we wanted to combine the best modern stock designs in the world into one “ultimate” model that would not only have the most inherent accuracy available, but also have the high comb needed to clear big scopes while still able to remove the bolt from the receiver. We also required the LRC™ to be durable, comfortable to shoot, easy to control and flexible enough to accommodate a wide range of barrels from hunting-weight sporters through the heaviest varminters. We accomplish this barrel interchangeability though the use of our patented forend inserts.
We've noticed some shooters prefer these stocks with no barrel channel insert installed, if you'd like yours without the channel insert (maximum free float), just give us a call.
Please do not confuse new Long Range Composite Stock with the cheap, flimsy polypropylene stocks on off-the-shelf factory composites like the 700 SPS. These are constructed from the stiffest, most durable 40% fiberglass filled composite we could find, much like your Glock frame, with our famous aluminum Accublock® molded right into the stock from the start.
A lot of time and effort went into developing the best finish for our stocks and we have finally the perfect finish.
We are offering these stocks in a vairety of textured finish spider web colors and several hydro-dip finishes.

For these stocks we have developed a new KickSoft™ recoil pad. Our new pad is of a medium firmness, when shooting magnums it won’t collapse or make a firm shoulder hold shaky like a softer pad, nor is it as hard as some others that do little to absorb recoil. We think you’ll like it a lot, but if you want a different pad it'll unscrew and your gunsmith can fit the alternate of your choice.
The grip cap is made from the same material as the stock and forend, a special type of 40% glass-filled composite. I can see many of our more custom-minded customers having an identical cap machined out of a small piece of aluminum stock and engraved to taste.
The forend features our distinctive "Swoop™" that is not only decorative but also serves as a functional hand stop when you're pulling the butt into the shoulder for a field shot.
These stocks don’t require bedding, however those who insist on using an epoxy bedding system in their rifles should only concern themselves with skim-bedding the aluminum AccuBlock® itself. Do not remove any of the composite material in the stock itself nor modify the block in any way.

I've been using this stock since Last year. It works. The bedding block is spot on. I'm able to center punch at 800 yards and make consistent hits at 1,000 yards with a 20 inch Remington tactical rifle using 175 SMK ammo. I can recommend this stock for your rifle builds. Nice stock it took a little longer than they told me to receive it I ordered the western viper for a Remington 700 sps the color was a little off then the picture provided like they got in a hurry when dipped it no big deal I put some grip tape on it and put a Magpul aics mag set up on it took some work to get it in there but it works and looks awesome ???? so it can be done, differently turns heads at the range and worth the price not to heavy at all makes you wonder ???? how the carbon fiber one feels like but this is a great buy I'm surprised more people don't know about it. The LRC with accublock is an excellent stock. Excellent shipping times. I was going to try a different brand but decided on Stocky stocks. I'm glad I did. Mated up real well with my short action remington. The tactical steel bottom metal are good to go also. They can take the recommend torque values for the action screws. This stock was almost everything I was looking for. Shy of spending $900 on a stock I realized that I wasn't going to find everything I was looking for, so I gave this stock a try. It exceeded my expectations upon arrival, and I can't wait to get some trigger time in this weekend. Fit and finish was better than I expected for the price, and the stock had no flex under realistic conditions. I put this stock on a Remington 700 SPS Varmint with a 26" factory varmint barrel. This combination afforded me a free floated barrel without a large unsightly gap. The barrel remained free floated even when shooting from a bipod. I have a Model 700 Remington short action with a custom after market barrelRating
in 308. It consistently shoots 3 shot 1 inch groups at 100 yards. Last week I purchased and mounted the Stocky's LRC stock to my rifle and headed out to Okee Shooting Sports. I was amazed that this rifle now shot a 1/2 inch 3 shot group at 100 yard !
The only change made to this rifle was the LRC stock. I highly recommend this stock.

Un boxed the tan web stock today, very well done and finish is great. I order the varmint version for an older 700 VS 223. Perfect fit on OEM bottom metal and barrel centered nicely. Free floated allowing 3 sheets of copy paper to slide freely. Solid stock no flex and is perfect weight for bags or bipod use.Rating

This is a very nice stock. Just fitted the LA long range composite with Rem. 700 Magpul lower. It was almost a drop in. I only had to take off material on the stock in the magazine well by the forward action screw. I have a Magpul Rem 700 .308 and this stock is close to it. I was thinking of getting another LA Magpul, but reviews said you have to remove the cheek piece to remove the bolt. This stock has a cut out for the bolt. I gave it 5 stars, but haven't shot it yet. I built a LRP Rifle for my son who recently left the USMC. I had purchased an Accublock stock for myself and a Rem. 700 22-250 and was very impressed with the feel, weight and accuracy. I wanted the same for my son. I put his .308 Remington 700 action in another Accublock stock which to me is as good as any McMillan or HS Precision stock available. Couldn't be more happy. I purchased this stock in the tan with black webbing finish and wow it's a beautiful and rugged textured finish. I bought this stock as a "budget stock" for my Remington 700 SPS AAC-SD in .308 Winchester. I was leaning towards the Magpul Hunter 700 stock but I just didn't like the angle of the grip much. It was comfortable but it wasn't as vertical as I would've liked. I once shot a custom rifle with a McMillan A5 fully adjustable stock on it and I was in love with that stock. I wanted something similar to it but MUCH MUCH cheaper so I decided to go out on a limb and give this stock a try. Man am I glad I bought this stock instead of anything else. It's rigid, tough, and made from an extremely durable material. I put it in a vice and tried to flex the forearm and I didn't get any flex at all. Simple to install. Very ergonomic and has a nice overall weight to it. Only issue I had was I had to sand a couple spots in the barrel channel to fully float my barrel but that only took about 10 minutes and wasn't a major inconvenience. Just received my stock last Friday. It arrived as described from Stockystocks. It took about 2 hrs to free float the barrel on my SPS 223 rifle. .900" dia.Other than a minimum of file work on one side of the trigger slot the drop in fit was perfect. Shooting off a bag or bipod at the range shoulder fit & cheek weld are great allowing for such a steady hold. Yes she weighs in over 13 lbs with scope a bit of a portly girl but the recoil is soaked up & is a joy to shoot with any powder/bullet combo I've shot so far. Replaced an H&S Stock that was on the Rem 700 5R I bought. With the HS stock the best I was able to get out of the rifle was just a little under one MOA at 100 yards. With the composite stock as purchased the rifle was shooting 5 shot groups of .5 to .6 MOA.Rating

Perfect drop in fit for my long action 700 in 300 win mag. Stock is comfortable and the recoil pad handles hot loads like a champ. Tightened my groups about .25 MOA. Swelled grip makes for excellent trigger control. Finish seems to be durable with no noticed fading or chipping. With a little bit of gunsmithing (to the trigger guard not the stock) a magpul 700 magnum trigger guard/box mag setup fits perfectly. I'll buy another stock for my next build. Well done and worth every penny. If you are on the fence about upgrading your stock , do it, you won't regret it. It is on the heavier side but the extra little bit of weight takes the recoil to a very manageable level and my 300 is very pleasant to shoot. Just wanted to say I was one of the first dudes to jump on this stock. I bought the textured finished ones they don't make anymore. Have had it for a year or so now and wanted to give a thumbs up on it. Fired over a thousand rounds on it with .308 and I think it is one of the best stocks made for the price. I have many others too HS, and two manners stocks and this one is just as good. It is super strong and tough, free floats the barrel well. I've given it a beating in desert environments. Easy to install too, I have an Oberndorf plate and had a bit of trouble with it but noticed it was my own fault, you need to use the spacers as your tightening it down, it will fit but make sure your box is seated in the grooves of the plate, the box likes to wiggle but has a sweet spot to close. It is super tough and made my SPS with a new criterion barrel as accurate as my custom remmys. I really want to get their carbon fiber one. But this stock is up there with some of the more expensive ones for sure. Excellent accuracy and a great aluminum bedding. They cerakote and duracoat real good too. I may save and stick with this stock on future builds and hope it advances. You wont be disappointed and can save much more money and get the same quality! I'm an avid PRS shooter and I have to tell you, after being on my third Long Range Composite Stock, these stocks are outstanding. I finished the first two myself (unpainted models) but didn't have time to this time so I sprung for the new black spiderweb finish.Rating
When I took it out of the box my barrel and action dropped right in, as usual. But the finish took me by surprise! Their spiderwebs are the best in a business and I mean that literally. Impressive, absolutely beautiful "bullet-proof" stock.
If you want to see what your rifle is capable of, drop it into one of these. No stock that I've found is more accurate or fits better. And I've used them all.

I am very impressed with this stock for what I paid. It exceeded my expectations in every area except one and that is weight. The stock weigh is considerably more that other replacement stocks. For magnum or heavy recoil rifles this will be a positive. If you are trying to build a light weight mountain rifle it will be too heavy in my opinion. I feel the reason it is heavier than most is because it is well made and the aluminum block is top quality machine work.Rating
