What's included in this package deal:

H-S Precision M24 Vertical Grip Stock for Remington 700 BDL short action or long action with a heavy varmint barrel. You have your choice of standard colors to choose from.

Stock Specs:

  • The PST035/036 comes in at about 2.4 lbs.
  • The overall length is 32" with a length of pull of 13.5"
  • Aluminum Bedding Block comes pre-installed from H-S Precision® with 3 studs and replacement action screws

Stocky's® take: Made especially for the longest and heaviest barrels, this is the choice of the finest Special Forces and other Law Enforcement / Emergency Response teams worldwide, these units and their cousins (featured elsewhere on our site) are the best-of-the-best. S.E.A.L. tested and M.O.T.H.E.R. approved..

  • The palm swell is pronounced and one of the most ergonomic in the business as it offers the user a great deal of trigger control.
  • The barrel channel is big, if you are building a custom bull or want an extreme-float like the benchresters, this one will fill the bill (or the bull as the case may be) in spades. Can't imagine mounting a barrel that wouldn't work. I checked with the factory on the application of the standard Remington factory contour in them and they are acceptable, I do want to remind you that there will be plenty of air circulation around it which of course does do good things for accuracy and cooling. But there's going to be some space around the barrel.
  • The forend sports that wonderful added bipod lug and is a 2 3/8" beavertail, slightly oval cross-section for those that prefer it.
  • Note the way the oval forend flattens toward the bottom, and the sides taper straight up to the top. This leaves a slightly rounded bottom, different than the Bell and Carlson A2 which sports a flat bottom. Take your pick.

Proof Research Barrel in Stainless Steel Cut Rifled, or Carbon Fiber Cut Rifled. You also have your choice of calibers as well.

Cut Rifled Barrels Specs:

  • PROOF 416R arrives at your door tapered to finish-out at a 26" length PLUS the muzzle break if desired. The barrels are then drilled, contoured and reamed to the bore diameter of the cartridge for which they are to be chambered. Every barrel is then 5R cut rifled, hand lapped and inspected with a bore scope for superior quality and consistency.
  • They are shipped ready to be threaded and crowned to any length up to 26" (plus break), chambered and fitted by qualified gunsmith.
Carbon Fiber Wrapped Barrels Specs:
  • Avaiable in different lengths and calibers.
  • Your bolt-action barrel will arrive ready for thread and chamber by your gunsmith.

Why are we pairing these together? The H-S Precison® M24 Vertical Grip Stock barrel channel is cut for a heavy M24 Barrel so we are stocking Proof Research Stainless Button and Cut rifled in M24 Contours. The Carbon Fiber Sendero barrels are very similar in contour to an M24 Barrel as well which makes for a perfect pairing with this stock.

Here at Stocky's®, we want to make it as easy as possible to upgrade your factory rifle. By offering a discount price on package deals that actually fit together, you're ready to purchase and go!
