Every once in a while our friends at Remington’s Gunstock Division give us a call to see if Stocky’s would like to do a special run of factory wood profile Model 700™ stocks in the laminated colors we made famous back with them back in the 2000’s. 

 Remember the Stocky’s® / S&K Gunstock days? Many of the same folks but now made by Remington exclusively for Remington factory rifles and Stocky's®..

 These are the model 700™ CDL style stocks and they are absolutely gorgeous. These stocks are / will be available in LA or SA with Sporter or Magnum barrel channels.

These fit all 700's with hinged floorplates and sporter barrels. In other words, you can put your BDL or SPS in a CDL stock interchangeably.

Please do not confuse new Long Range Composite Stock with the cheap, flimsy polypropylene stocks on off-the-shelf factory composites like the 700 SPS. These are constructed from the stiffest, most durable 40% fiberglass filled composite we could find, much like your Glock frame, with our famous aluminum Accublock® molded right into the stock from the start.

A lot of time and effort went into developing the best finish for our stocks and we have finally the perfect finish.

This stock is a synthesis of all the fast-handling and easy-to-carry design elements found in the most elegant examples of the Classic Style. The slender, somewhat open grip is well defined, but does not extend too far below the toe line. The comb is parallel to the bore, which aids scope use, and because of its straight-line design, minimizes cheek slap under recoil. Sporting an ambidextrious buttstock blends perfectly with the overall shape of the buttstock. The forend is flat-oval in cross-section, and proportioned to complement barrels of 18"-26 in length.

These synthetic stocks feature a hand laid fiberglass shell with Kevlar and carbon fiber reinforcement in high stress areas, resulting in an extremely strong yet lightweight riflestock for your classic builds.

These stocks are / will be available in LA or SA in Standard Sporter or Magnum configurations. Standard sporter stocks have the Remington original hard butt plate. Stocks designed for Magnum cartridges have the new SuperCel™ pads, a magnum barrel channel and an added reinforcement dowel.

These fit all 700's with hinged floorplates. In other words, you can put your CDL or SPS in a BDL stock interchangeably.

The M50 was designed to be my personal long range target and hunting stock. A close inspection will reveal the grip is very similar to the SAKO series, palm swell and all, except done in an ambidextrous manner. I've used this grip hunting all over the world so I'll personally vouch for it. We also widened the forend very slightly and added two snap-in / bolt-on combs. The M50 uses the identical Stocky’s KickSoft™ Recoil Pad as the LRC™.

The  (matching color) High M50 cheekrest was put at the same height as the LRC™ and the X-High raises it another 5/8" (0.63"). I think you'll find the High cheek is perfect for scopes in low or medium rings and the X-High version is perfect for big, bad scopes in medium or high rings.

One other little thing, we include new takedown screws with your stock that are just the right length so you can be sure it will install in a snap!

Rifles from 375H&H and up needs a strong and functional platform. The GRS Safari is designed for shooting with open sight or low mounted riflescopes - and specifically with dangerous game hunting in mind. Stocky himself routinely shoots rifles in 375H&H, .416 Rigby, 458 Lott as well as the long range 338 Lapua - so he knows what recoil demands from stocks. These stocks will take it.

Years of personal civilian and military long range shooting experience lies behind the design of this stock. The GRS Hybrid Stock is a monster, capable of handling the biggest and baddest barreled action you care to sit behind.

The design is derived from the long range stock, with the same grip and SpeedLock system. The butt has a surface specially made for shooting with a bag, this is the preferred method for extended ranges. The forend is 2" longer than the sporter/varmint style stock and has a flat bottom for supporting against bags or rests. The longer forend also provides a better mounting position for bipods and aids in balancing long and heavy barrels. The forend has one quick detachable slingmount (flush cup) and one sling mount for using a Harris style bipod is provided as standard. It is identical in form to our ground-breaking M50 carbon fiber layup stocks, with the warmth and beauty of wood. For pure shootability it is a hard stock to beat at any price.

Stocky's Take: This stock design is rapidly becoming one of my favorite ambedextrous designs of all time for several reasons.

• The butt is tall and wide so the apparent recoil reduction is as good or better than any laminated stock on the market today. 
• The cheek is as high as I dared to make it while still clearing the bolt, without putting a groove in the front to ruin its more classic lines. 
• The grip is more vertical than older versions (like the M40), the palm swell puts the trigger finger right where it needs to be for optimum trigger control, with a thumb flute on either side. 
• The receiver sits nestled in our precisely accurate, aluminum Accublock® and needs no bedding (skim bedding is okay for the most particular shooters). 
• The semi-beavertail forend (as well as the flat-bottom butt) rides great in the bags and is plenty wide enough, but not as wide as some. 
• Up front we've cut a pair of air breathing vents as well as undercut the inside of the barrel channel to promote maximum barrel cooling during those long, hot days in dog town. 

We're pretty sure you'll agree its one of the most inherently accurate, sweetest shooting stocks out there!
