Details
Precision-turned, heat-treated screws provide extra reach when mounting rifle actions in synthetic or wooden stocks with thicker, cross-sectional depth. Approximately .250" longer than the factory screws for greater flexibility in bedding depth. Action screw kits are available with the standard slotted head to match the factory screws or with Allen head sockets that allow repeatable torque settings on match or target rifles.
SPECS: Steel, blue. Slotted Head - ¼"-28 x 1.3", ¼"-28 x 1.9", 8-36 x 1.8" Allen Head - ¼"-28 x 1.7", ¼"-28 x 2.2" or 8-36 x 2.2". Kits include all the correct guard screws for the model listed.
Filing will be necessary for correct fit.

Ordered these because the original front screw was to short when replacing SPS Varmint stock with the AccuBlock stock. I needed to cut off a small bit of the smaller screw as it was to long. If you've never done this before, as I hadn't, you can actually screw the bottom metal to the new stock and receiver fully. Look inside the receiver and see how many thread protrude into the receiver. Back out the screw, cut it off at the right length and you are set. Great Customer service. (Posted on 9/10/2015)Rating
