As crossbows grow in acceptance, more people are exposed to Hawke as the leader in crossbow optics. Since 2008, customers and crossbow companies alike have come to Hawke for the very best in crossbow optics.
From a chassis specifically designed to withstand the rigors of crossbows, to reticle systems virtually guaranteed to make you a better shot, Hawke has re-written the rules for what can be expected of crossbow optics.
The XB30 scope makes the most of innovative reticle designs by pairing them with our vari-speed technology.
Using the magnification as a calibration tool, shooters can achieve even 10 yard increments on virtually any bow shooting between 215 and 450 feet per second. Flexibility, innovation, and proven performance make Hawke the unquestioned industry leader in crossbow optics.
XB30 Turret & Illumination: Highly accurate, ½ MOA click, low profile resettable turrets with 30 MOA per revolution coupled with a stepless rheostat allowing infinite adjustment across the illumination range. All the control you’ll ever need. | ![]() |
XB30 Optical System: Protected by metal flip-up covers, the XB30 optical system produces exceptional low light performance thanks to its high light transmission 16 layer fully multi-coated lenses. | ![]() |
XB30 Speed Adjuster: Adjust the speed selector (zoom) to match the bow speed from 215-450 fps for accurate reticle calibration. Selector features integrated high grip rubber insert. | ![]() |
Stocky's Take: Having hunted literally all over the world with the XB 30 Pro, this is a scope I have extensive experience with on the range as well as in the field. It's the best crossbow scope on the market today.
The primary feature that makes it a standout performer (aside from the impecable clarity and brightness) is the reticle and velocity-dial system makes it suitable for a wide variety of crossbows today up to including the 440+ fps Scorpyd x-bows. Rather than dialing the power zoom from 1x to 5x, it's marked in FPS increments up to 450 fps. Once you have your 'bow dialed in at 20 yards, set the speed dial to the approximate velocity and take a shot at 60, making whatever minor adjustments necessary to nail the black with the power dial not the turret adjustments.
You're now pretty close to dead-on all the way out to 100 yards. (But it never hurts to verify it.)
Using this system I've cleanly taken cape buffalo at 20 yards, a number of North American deer and African plains animals at 50 to 60 yards or so, even a little German-shepard-sized springbok at a measured 101 yards.
Below are some of the features that you'll enjoy with the Hawke XB30 Pro:
