Benchmark Barrels uses only the highest quality 416R and 4140R carbon steel in the production of our product. This ensures that our barrel is the finest you can put on your rifle.

All barrels are individually double hand lapped to a true consistent bore. The manufacturing process also includes double stress relieving and quality control inspection utilizing proprietary methods along with the most accurate industry techniques available. 

We also stock barrels fluted to a specific (installation) length in the popular #4 sporter contour.

These stainless steel cut-rifled barrels are made in-house with an absolute commitment to extreme accuracy and quality. They start with double stress-relieved 416R stainless steel, a pre-hardened chromium stainless steel ideally suited for use in precision, match-grade rifle barrels. 416R was specifically designed by engineers in collaboration with barrel makers and rifle manufacturers to provide the consistency, high quality and durability the firearms industry demands.

These barrels are gunsmith ready, meaning that the the barrel is threaded for the receiver but needs to be chambered in the desired cartridge by a qualified gunsmith.

This is the breathtaking laminated wood version our EuroMatch™ 10/22® stocks, adjustable cheek version, available in your choice of colors. 

The cheekpiece on these stocks is not simply a chunk cut out of the buttstock like most stocks, its actually a well-designed, form-fitting "cap" that slides up and down and locks in place - no buttons to break or springs to clog - the way it should be engineered.

All EuroStocks™ feature full OEM-quality fit and finish, stippled laser-engraved checkering on the fore and grip and a nice, 1" thick, vented recoil pad.

Cooper Firearms of Montana builds some of the finest semi-custom and custom rifles in the USA, all with their own hand-fitted stocks. We are now making certain models available in limited production runs in handmade wood and fiberglass / kevlar / carbon fiber layup construction.

These synthetic stocks feature a hand laid fiberglass shell with Kevlar and carbon fiber reinforcement in high stress areas, resulting in an extremely strong yet lightweight riflestock for your classic builds.

They feature molded-in aluminum action screw pillars, a very appropriate 1” Pachmayr Old English Decelerator butt pad, and a 13-3/4” length of pull. A more vertical pistol-style grip, sculptured forend and deep reliefs behind the grip provide excellent comfort, trigger control and fast handling.

Precision inletting for factory Remington® hinged floorplate bottom metal and sport barrel contour allows for an exceptionally strong stock while maintaining a low 30-31oz weight.

Every once in a while our friends at Remington’s Gunstock Division give us a call to see if Stocky’s would like to do a special run of factory wood profile Model 700™ stocks in the laminated colors we made famous back with them back in the 2000’s. 

 Remember the Stocky’s® / S&K Gunstock days? Many of the same folks but now made by Remington exclusively for Remington factory rifles and Stocky's®..

 These are the model 700™ CDL style stocks and they are absolutely gorgeous. These stocks are / will be available in LA or SA with Sporter or Magnum barrel channels.

These fit all 700's with hinged floorplates and sporter barrels. In other words, you can put your BDL or SPS in a CDL stock interchangeably.

Remember the Stocky’s® / S&K Gunstock days? Many of the same folks but now made by Remington. These are the original 700™ BDL Monte Carlo style stocks and they are absolutely gorgeous.

These stocks are / will be available in LA or SA in Standard Sporter or Magnum configurations. Standard sporter stocks have the Remington original hard butt plate. Stocks designed for Magnum cartridges have the new SuperCel™ pads, a magnum barrel channel and an added reinforcement dowel.

These fit all 700's with hinged floorplates. In other words, you can put your CDL or SPS in a BDL stock interchangeably.

These fit all 700 Varmint, Sendero and Police rifles with hinged floorplates right out of the box. The butt of the stocks are identical to the standard Remington 700 BDL wood stocks, complete with the signature black grip cap. The forend, however, has been widened to a full beavertail for resting in bags or on bipods.

These are the only factory 700 wood stocks that will accept the heavier barrels and may be opened up to full bull or M24 / Proof if desired. If you want to ditch the synthetic and carry a truly legendary 700 varmint rifle, this is the one to choose. You can bolt them up and shoot right our of the box, or they are easily bedded with our pillar bedding kits. They are wonderful upgrades to refresh any suitably-barreled 700 or would make a great classical custom 700 with an H-S Precision (listed below) or other premium aftermarket varmint barrel.

Stocky's Take: Truth be told, these are the original M700 varmint / tactical style of stocks, having been popular back in the days you couldn't give a synthetic-stocked rifle away. If I had to choose my favorite wood stock of all time, this would be it. The SA walnut version should be arriving very soon, long action version(s) are on order but we don't have a date on them yet.

 Our new FG lineup features molded-in colors, barrel channels up to and including the Proof Sendero (M24) and the standard inlets are designed fit both factory Rem 700 receivers as well as the modern crop of 700 clones (e.g. Defiance, Big Horn, Stiller).

This version is ergonomically identical to the injection-molded version.

It is constructed of hand-laid layers of premium fiberglass cloth reinforced with a carbon fiber core for superior strength in a lightweight build, and then completed with a unique selection from our variety of molded in color schemes. Despite the rather large size, it still weighs just over 2 lbs. with a hand-fitted Pachmayr Decelerator™ pad.

Here at stocky's we know there are a lot of Remington 700 ADL™ rifles out there, if not they sure are reasonably priced at the big box stores, so we thought you might appreciate the option to dress yours up a bit!

These are the Classic profile Rem 700™ silhouette, but cut for the ADL blind magazine with Remington's signature laser-engraved checkering panels on either side of the grip and forend.

This patented manufacturing process begins with full-profile, match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel blanks that are made in our firearms division. This reduced contour barrel is then filament-wrapped with high-strength, aerospace-grade carbon fibers impregnated with a high-thermal conductivity matrix resin developed by our aerospace materials division.

Your Pre-Fit Savage bolt-action barrel will arrive chambered and threaded in various calibers. We recommend a qualified gunsmith install the pre-fit barrel on your Savage. These barrels are made for the smaller thread size receivers. Feel free to call us to double check which one you have. You can also tell which thread size you have by measuring the barrel nut length. If it is 5/8" long you have the large thread and these barrels will not work but you can still use a bolt action blank and have it threaded and chambered by a gunsmith.  If your barrel nut measures 7/8" long then it would be the smaller thread and these barrels will work.
