As you know, Stocky has perfected the CNC machined aluminum block in laminated and solid walnut stocks at a very affordable price. Produced exclusively for Stocky's® and held to 0.001" tolerences (one-thousandth), we think you'll agree this is the most potentially accurate out-of-the-box wooden stock ever made on a production basis. In fact, Stocky feels the AccuBlock® is single most important development since laminates first came to town.
Precision CNC machined 6061-T6 has been shown to reduce harmonics (vibrations) under stress and that quality, combined with it's reputation for accuracy and durability, is the reason we have chosen that particular metallurgy for this premium stock. The "V" runs parallel the entire length of the block allowing for the 0.028" variations of 700 reciever diameters to all nestle snugly into the block.(1) We have integrated shallow grooves the full length of the block for the express purpose of holding more bedding epoxy if you decide to "skim bed" the block (this is optional).(2) Additionally, aluminum pillars are inserted into machined recesses in the bottom of the AccuBlock®, completing the solid aluminum top-to bottom bedding platform.
A subtle streamline, the perfect palm swell, and the addition of an extremely luxurious mirror-gloss finish on the brighter colors and no-spook matte on the others.
Photos don't do them justice, especially the high gloss units. In this world full of mundane black plastic stocks they truly shine. If you are looking for a real showpiece, this'd be the one.

This is the preferred model for heavier barrels due to the wider beavertail forend.

Best for long range work, the thumbhole stock has been widely acclaimed as the most accurate and softest-recoiling field stock on the market. It is also a very handsome stock, sporting an improved tapered thumbhole, perfectly placed palm-swell and state-of-the-art engineering.
The LRV forend is wider, for the ultimate stability when rested, plus vents to keep the barrel cool when the prairie dog town becons. It can be easily opened up for the heaviest barrels.

- All Remington 700 LRV stocks are designed only for "BDL-Style" hinged-floorplate type rifles. This includes BDL, SPS, XCR and VTR heavy barrel rifles, with little if any modification.
- Heavier barrels, such as 1.250" full-bulls and Remington 5R Mil. Spec. barrels are fine but will require opening of the barrel channel.

And im very pleased the way gun finished out took a little extra work But what Aftermarkets don't need a little TLC
The stock to barreled action fit was very close I would say 99% fit very very little fitting required around barrel channel for my liking
Now the Accublock little differend story after being bolted up in the stock I had 43 Thousandths movement front to rear at the action lug but that was a easy fix as well I just steel bedded the action lug witch most people bed there stock anyway
The stock had a little bit of orange peel on the finish so I took some 1500 and wet sand and buffed it back out came out Great
All in All Very Satisfied with my purchase of this stock and I have tried Many other stocks from other company's so far this Stockys Stock is the best fit with less work needed to custom fit to my application

I was hesitant in ordering an AccuBlock in this stock but was encouraged about what I read regarding AccuBlock so I had a custom built 6.5 Creedmoor rifle built for long range antelope hunting. Shots 500 t0 1000 yards are common and the rifles I owned were not accurate enough for me to deliver an ethical shot at these distances. I chose a 6.5 due to its ballistics performance, I wanted a cartridge that was more likely to be extremely consistent in flight and stabilize better than average. I was extremely happy with the custom build work that was done by Patrick at Trigger Time Gun Club in Colorado. When I asked him what he thought about the AccuBlock Stock he told me it was very easy to mount and with being a sturdy platform for my action and Barrel it will most likely be very accurate. After bore sighting and getting it close at 100 yards, I found it so accurate with factory 143 grain rounds I could barely tell how many rounds I put in the same hole. I was so pleased I tried 120 grain rounds, with the same single hole 5 round groups. I've never had a rifle be that accurate so early in its life, its not all due to the AccuBlock Stock but I'm sure it had a major role in achieving this type of accuracy in a brand new rifle.
