Richly figured dark claro walnut combined with the stiffness and stability of carbon fiber! Although it has been oft claimed, these are genuinely the richness of hi-grade walnut with the accuracy and stability characteristics of a laminate, in fact it's the highest tech laminate out there. Sandwiched between 2 solid blocks of walnut are 2 layers of premium (I am tempted to use 'space-age' but won't) carbon fiber multi-directional material, to create the stiffest and most stable walnut stock available today.
