This particular unit, the PST093, is the Police-Urban Tactical version, cut for the standard Remington 700 BDL Police Special 20" (Remington #3 Barrel Contour) barrel. It also fits standard 700 SPS and BDL Short Action Varminters, works best with shorter barrels, in fact the 086 is OEM on Remington's 700 XCR Compact Tactical.

This is the most portable and one of the best all-around adjustable A5's on the market at a streamlined three-and-a-half-pounds or so. To be any lighter it has to be non-adjustable. You might find the PST-025/26 better for a bench gun.
The 086 fixed version is ideal for short 20" barrels. The Model 700™ XCR™ Compact Tactical sports them out of the box.
