When a laminated blank is made, the color-dyed hardwood sheets are compressed in synthetic resin permanently bonded under thousands of pounds of pressure. This process completely impregnates the wood pores with a transparent synthetic material. Savage 10 / Stevens 200 Short Action (fits the older 4.25" takedown screw model). These units are for blind magazines (no floorplate, trigger guard inlet only.)
