Stocky's Take: This is the Classic Sporter stock with that unique 597 style. Great replacement for the crummy 'tupperware' they put on the lowest price versions. I think they were overruns as the buttplate is a really nice Remington branded unit. Flared beavertail forend with finger grooves, straight ambedextrous comb in the popular Nutmeg Laminated hardwood that has made Boyds' famous. Photos don't do them justice, they actually look better in person! Excellent quality stock for literally half-price. Don't miss them.
