*NEW!* Weatherby Mark V Limited Edition Thumbhole Laminated Stock
 Now With Dual Forend Studs (three total, one for bipod, two for sling) The Tundra is a more traditional sporter style thumbhole stock that is right at home in the woods or on the range. Virtually impervious to magnum recoil, super-steady to hold - Outstanding for Tacticians, Varminters, accuracy buffs or rock-solid cross canyon shots with your Magnum. Makes a .300 feel like shooting a .308 Win. It is also a very handsome stock, sporting a gracefully tapered thumbhole, gracefully flared yet meaty pistol-grip and unique rolled-cheekpiece. These features give this model a great feel both off the bags and offhand, with many shooters mounting a bipod in the forward stud and attaching the sling on the rear one. This drop-in style gunstock is complete with a vented recoil pad, black pad spacer and an extremely smooth non-reflective weather resistant finish that will not crack or yellow with years of use. Shop & Compare these quality features: - Comfortable 13.5" length of pull;
- Ergonomically correct grip with palm swell;

Stocky's take: Specially built for Weatherby's Mark V 9-lug (.300 Weatherby Magnum size) action length these beauties are built to hunt. Fits German, Japanese and American made rifles with a standard #2 contour barrel. Fit's #1 contours as well, the difference is mainly in the chamber area (small gap where it tapers) and is barely noticible, I just dropped my favorite old German Lightweight .300WM right into it. Aditionally, we had these machined with the pressure pad in the forend that Ed Weatherby requires on their factory stocks for best accuracy, in fact their accuracy guarantee (1.5 or 1 MOA depending on the model) is void without forend pressure (found that out the hard way). They are now recommending equal torque (35 in/lbs in wood) on both screws, tighten front one last as usual. The laminated ones could stand 40-45 in/lbs if desired. It's widely held that laminated stocks create the best combination of wood-like beauty, balance, durability and accuracy of all gunstocks available. However it is not well known why:When a laminated blank is made, the color-dyed hardwood sheets are compressed in synthetic resin permanently bonded under thousands of pounds of pressure. This process completely impregnates the wood pores with a transparent synthetic material. This means that these stocks have all of the advantages of plastic stocks without the dull look, feel and muzzle-heavy balance of an injection-mold or fiberglass unit. Perhaps most importantly, they are far more silent in the woods ... no game-spooking "tink-tink" sound when accidentally tapped by a limb or neck-slung game call in the field. 100% American Made - Carved for you from best-quality Vermont Rutland Corporation hardwoods, the sole manufacturer of laminated hardwood materials in North America. Please do not settle for that cheap imported junk. I have been in the wood business for over 20 years and can tell you some real horror stories.
KSA, LLC. / Revolution - We have partnered with this manufacturer to produce all of our newest developments due to the outstanding history of quality we have with them and their complete willingness to back up their stuff with 100% customer satisfaction. We feel, after using many factories over the years, that Revolution is simply the finest production manufacturer of aftermarlet wooden stocks we are aware of. Additionally, they have over 80,000 square feet of firearm-dedicated CNC/automated machines, that, combined with their second and third generation Pennsylvania craftsmen and women, makes them the ideal source for our aluminum bedded and other laminated hardwood stocks and precision machined rifle accessories.
Bottom Line: Anyone can make a cheap product, we choose KSA/Revolution over others for a reason. If you want the best value on the market today get a KSA!
