Exchanges are cheerfully accepted if you pay the freight. Please be kind and re-package it well for the return ride and remember to insure it! Defective merchandise and/or errors are cheerfully replaced or refunded at our option and may be subject to manufacturers' inspection process. Please forward a copy of your email order confirmation to stockys@stockysstocks.com for a return authorization with a description of the problem. Kindly do write the number on the outside of the box, placing a copy of your paperwork in the box with the item so we know where it came from. Please be considerate and pack it well. Due to the nature of our pastime many of the items we sell are designed to be altered, modified or otherwise customized. We are even happy to work with you and suggest such modifications. However, once you begin to make them be aware your stock is now yours. Unauthorized returns, damaged items, or items that have been altered from their original state are not eligible for refunds or exchanges for obvious reasons. Manufacturer(s) Warranty: Some products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty that requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair. Manufacturer warranties when received with the product, will override our own. Outside of our 10 day exchange period Manufacturers' Warranty applies. Please contact us for more information or details on submitting a claim if required. Custom orders must be returned to the factory for service.Backorders / Custom Orders: We get a ton of requests to offer backorders at sale pricing. Due to popular demand we now accept backorders and custom orders at current sale pricing in effect on the day you place the order! When your order is placed your card is charged and the item will be committed to you immediately in our software if it is already on order at the factory, or an order for it is placed with your name on it at the factory if not. Since production is scheduled immediately such orders are literally impossible to cancel, even if delayed, hence our no-cancellation policy. Since credit and debit cards expire, get revoked, etc., all we ask is that you be sure of your purchase and be willing to pay for it when you place the order so we can automatically ship it to you the day it arrives. That's correct, we ship them out same day as a rule, UPS delivers to us at 8am, we inspect, (re)package and UPS picks them up that afternoon! We've tried it other ways and it's simply too difficult and time consuming to manage, and if you look at it from a merchant's standpoint cannot commit resources to the hundreds of items we sell 'hoping' all the fellows that want them today are available (or have the funds available, of course) when their selections arrive weeks (or months) later. This is a community, if you are a regular customer you know how well we work already, if you are a new customer be comfortable with the fact that we have been doing this for many years and are very efficient. In this world of mass-produced foreign imports please be sure to bear in mind that the gunstocks we sell are not mass-produced foreign imports, they are individually hand crafted as a rule and these orders may take a variable amount of time to fill. In other words they made to order, not stamped out on machines and stockpiled in warehouses. We are happy to quote our recent experience with each individual factory however all of our stocks are hand crafted by sportsmen like you right here in the USA according to their production requirements, not ours, and therefore delays may occur. Conversely, many orders can and do arrive much faster than expected. Please bear this in mind before you order: all we can do is our best to get the finest here the fastest (and we are really good at it) however life does happen and we have no control over any factory's production schedule. We have 1000's of stocks on hand but if you are willing to wait for a special color or hard to get model we'll get it just as fast as we can. Please do not backorder a stock if you have anything like a deadline, that's the best way we know of to guarantee a "Murphy's Law" delay. Bell & Carlson Synthetics: Custom orders run a reliable 8 weeks. Add a week or two for MaxxGuard and custom features like magnum reinforcement and length adjustment. We try to keep the keep the best sellers (i.e. Tacticals, Alaskans and Medalists) on perpetual order in the textured black and spiderweb finishes in an effort to keep your wait shorter than that, but we'd rather be heros than villans so plan on the worst and we'll do our best to suprize you. Laminated Stocks: If it's not in stock plan on a 12 week wait at a minimum. Unless it's for a Ruger 10/22 do not backorder one if you have anything like a deadline as it could be 6 months or even longer. Better yet, just keep checking back until you see them in-stock and ready to ship. Small Parts and Supplies: We generally keep good stock on hand but the worst-case is a week or two if backordered.
