These nice quality units have an excellent inletting job, and the surfaces are smooth and clear, well sanded & ready-to-finish. Buttplate is inletted, as are the compartments. Bottom is nicely inletted for your triggerguard and sling as well. Photo is not necessarily the one you'll get.

In this shipment there are 3 levels of grain structure, Standard, Fancy and Extra Fancy. For you extra fancy guys, we'll pull the best one. There's only a couple of these in this load but they are impressive. The fancy ones have some nice grain but not as much as the better units.

Standard grade stocks are straight grained and make are easy, drop-in replacements for your old beat up stock. All are easily stained and finished with your choice of oils or polyurethane top coats, I think you'll find very little sanding to be required. Some of them even have the first coat of oil applied, but we're calling them unfinished as you'll want to do at least a couple more.
