As you can see it's an excellent inletting job, and the surfaces are smooth and clear with a dark hand-rubbed oil finish or well sanded & ready-to-finish. Buttplate is inletted, as are the compartments. Bottom is nicely inletted for your triggerguard and sling as well. This the standard service grade of factory-select walnut.
